Nice little spot ... Right downtown - next to Posthotel. Great service and food. We've eaten pretty much everywhere in Leavenworth at one point or another. This is a place we'll definitely go back to next time we're in town.

The Watershed Cafe is a very nice restaurant in Leavenworth, a little bit off of the Main Street. It is popular, so it pays to get reservations. Overall the food was good, but a little overpriced for what you get. It looks like the menu rotates, so what we had may not be available at another time. Service was friendly, but they seemed spread thin and slow at times. We started with a bottle of wine. The wine list is not large, but we found a good bottle of red. For an appetizer, we had bruschetta. It was good, slightly different than what I was used to with the cherry tomatoes just cut in half. For the main course, I had pork that came with potatoes croquette and a mustard sauce. The pork was cooked very well, but a little bland and it could have used more of the sauce. The potatoes were fine. Someone else had the meatloaf and seemed to enjoy it more.

Food and service were great. I give it 4 stars only because the kitchen ventilation is not good. After dinner we noticed our clothes carried a strong food odor that didn't go away even after airing out our jackets overnight. Take note if you plan on visiting, don't wear expensive clothing or jackets

Watershed is good, but not great. It didn't quite live up to our expectations considering the prices. First, they charged us $21 just for a reservation (was refunded on the bill). My bf loved the meatloaf and his Old Fashioned. My $38 halibut was good, but the portions were small considering what we paid. The espresso martini was just ok...I've had better drinks at other Leavenworth restaurants. One plus is they sat us by the window so we had a great dining view, and our server was friendly and attentive. We are glad that we tried it, but for the cost, I'm not sure the value is there.

Next time you're in Leavenworth, make sure to book a table at the incredible Watershed restaurant. Super close to the Post Hotel and just off the main drag, you'll be treated to a wonderful menu full of Pacific NW cuisine. Service is on point and prices are reasonable. The poached pear salad, Caprese salad and meatloaf were all outstanding! Looking forward to dining here again soon!

Split every dish with my date and the friendly staff brought it out course style. Every flavor was eye widening and the most memorable dish was the mixed berry delight dessert. I always pick chocolate desserts over others, but this choice will be one of my life favorites. Very romantic environment. So glad our airbnb recommended this gem.
